Our Garden Twine has been adapted and works well as a Seasonal String! We have packaged it with a paper band to allow us to give you a whole 92 metres/100 yards in each pack! This festive twine is perfect for present wrapping, we used to pack our parcels.
We have blended Lleyn wool with the basic white Devon and Cornwall Longwool fleece, and both wools come from organic farms in South East Cornwall.
So now you have either a more colourful garden or you can use the string for wrapping and decorating parcels or for crochet string bags.
The Devon and Cornwall Longwool sheep breed is rare and special and serves its local community well. They don’t have soft fleeces, but goodness, they are strong and therefore perfect to spin for a sustainable, locally produced string. We blend with a little coarse Lleyn wool to make it more easy to spin.
