We are in love with this stunning yarn with a very local theme. Spun from a blend of fine Bowmont (70%) and Zwartbles (30%), that we sourced within a short distance of the mill, this 4-ply yarn is beautiful to look at, feel and work with. Each skein is a one-of-a- kind creation.

Most people who travel to Cornwall along the A30 road will have seen the Nearly Home trees. A distinctive stand of tall beech trees, they are particularly significant to us. Once the trees have been seen, you are almost at the border of Cornwall and approaching Launceston, where our woollen mill is based. The trees have an interesting history with the hill they are on called Cookworthy Knapp.
