Why Bam-boozle?
The name has come from the concept of creating a sock yarn without adding nylon, instead we have used bamboo, which is why we have bamboozled you. Bamboo is a great substitute fibre to use in sock knitting, as it is antibacterial, hypoallergenic, thermo-regulating and absorbs moisture. For this charming worsted spun blend we have added 20% bamboo with 40% of Romney and 40% of BFL. These qualities make it a perfect yarn for lightweight summer garments and accessories, and it will give you an extra layer during the winter. It’s a wonderful and dreamy yarn to work with, giving a distinctive stitch definition, ideal for socks, lacy cardigans, shawls, and light weight sweaters.

We introduced this range as a Limited Edition in 2023 with a small selection of shades, and because we had such a positive response we have expanded the range to eight delicious pastel shades. We really hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
