Ridgeway Gansey Cardigan – Project Kit
This project kit for the Ridgeway Gansey Cardigan contains 4-8 skeins of our beautiful Tamar Lustre Blend DK and the pattern designed for us by Rita Taylor. The sample in our photos is knitted in Loveny, but you can pick from any of our Tamar DK shades. Your kit will arrive in one of our Blacker Yarn tote bags, so you can be ready to pick up your project and knit anywhere.
The design for the waist length cardigan, is gansey-inspired. It has attractive patterning at front and back, a dropped shoulder, and patterning on the upper arm sections. We love the inspiration, but also think this is a modern, wearable garment, that will suit all ages and styles. It will become a classic go-to piece in your wardrobe.
