Hanabira Jumper – Project Kit

£0

Hanabira is a bottom up set in sleeve jumper, knitted in the round with Tamar 4-ply. The body has a simple lace and texture motif with bobbles that represent flower petals, hence the name Hanabira (which means petal in Japanese).

The body is knitted straight with no shaping until the underarm, where stitches are cast off. The front and back are separated to be knitted flat while shaping the armhole. Short rows are added to improve the fit, and then the front and back are grafted with a 3-needle bind off. The sleeves are knitted top down and shaped with short rows.

The petal motif is both charted and written.
