The Kaori Jumper Project Kit includes a pattern designed by Walaa Emad. The Kaori is a slightly oversized jumper with a raglan construction, it has a boxy body with no shaping and colourwork for the majority of the body, the sleeves have a tapered look whilst having a loose fit. The pattern is named after Walla’s mum in Japanese, who loves lavender and was the inspiration behind the design.

When choosing sock yarn, we suggest using our 4-ply yarn and to reinforce the toes and heel to improve durability. Our Guernsey yarns work well for fine high-definition textured designs and Aran creates thicker sock versions which are longer lasting and can be worn with boots.
