We’re open from Monday to Thursday, 11am to 2pm, throughout the year. To enjoy your personal shopping experience with one of the Blacker Yarns team, booking in advance is required. Please email or call us to make an appointment to visit.
We welcome hand knitters, machine knitters and crocheters of all abilities, and those less experienced or simply curious about starting a new hobby. Our new, permanent display enables us to showcase all our best-selling, Blacker Yarns product ranges for your pleasure. As well as designing and making our own pure wool, classic ranges, many with a Cornish theme such as Tamar Lustre, Folklore and Lyonesse, there are limited edition and rare British breed yarns using Devon Closewool and North Ronaldsay fibre.
We offer a wide selection of the finest quality British wool, as well as printed patterns for unisex garments and accessories, knitting and crochet project kits, gift vouchers and offer gift ideas for any occasion.
