Our Blacker Breeds Limited Edition yarns are made from local fibres including Dartmoor, Exmoor, Zwartbles and Closewool.

All our yarns knit to a standard tension, so these limited edition breeds can be used for all our knitting patterns although the fabrics will differ for each.

Due to scarcity, these limited edition yarns come and go with many of the breeds classified as rare or endangered and listed by the Rare Breeds Survival Trust. When we can get the quality we need we make occasional limited editions, so do grab them when you can – they are very special indeed!
