Transatlantic Tam, Cowl and Mittens – Project Kit

These beautiful Fair Isle tam, cowl and mittens were designed by Virginia Sattler-Reimer using our Gotland DK. Your project kit will contains three 100g skeins of our Gotland DK, beautifully presented in one of our recyclable cardboard boxes. Virginia has used Mist, Downpour and Shower, but you could pick any of our lovely Gotland shades. This pattern is suitable for anyone with experience of reading a chart and stranded colourwork.

All patterns come in one size, but may be adjusted by changing needle size. If knitting larger you may need to order one additional skein of wool.

Virginia says that in thinking about the history of this beautiful fiber and the journey it has made to my hands I was reminded of a similar journey relatives of mine took so long ago, resulting in my hands being in this place. These Transatlantic designs are my way of honoring that journey.
