Traditional Guernsey – Project Kit

This gorgeous Guernsey pullover is a good introductory design, modelled on the Cornish designs with a textured yoke and plain body. It is worked back and forth to reduce weight while knitting though experienced Guernsey knitters may prefer to work in the round and work the sleeves downwards.

This knitting kit includes the Traditional Guernsey pattern designed by June Onigbanjo, beautifully presented in one of our cotton projects bags with some of our Romney Guernsey 5-Ply wool! Perfect for yourself or as a gift for a loved one.

Pattern Level of Ability: Intermediate

The kit is available in all nine sizes, please note these are the finished garment sizes including 10cm/4 inches positive ease. Sample knitted in size 6.

Size 1 includes 7 x 100g skeins
Size 2 & 3 includes 8 x 100g skeins
Size 4 includes 9 x 100g skeins
Size 5 & 6 includes 10 x 100g skeins
Size 7 includes 11 x 100g skeins
Size 8 & 9 includes 12 x 100g skeins

Please note the moss stitch panels at the side of the front and back are not knitted in sizes 1 and 2, and vary in width in the other sizes. These panels are larger in the larger sizes. The garment in these photos is in size 6.
