Chatto Sweater – Project Kit
We are delighted to offer this wonderful sweater kit, designed by Emma Vining, using our Tamar Lustre Blend DK.
Emma says she was inspired by rows of flower bulbs growing in a field, and the Chatto Sweater has wonderful texture. As the bulbs begin to grow, the leaves spread out over planted ridges and a central flower head emerges. The ridges are knitted with long lines of single eyelets and flower heads are formed using a double eyelet and twisted stitch combination. By offsetting the pattern, a lattice of leaves is formed across the sweater front and back. The lattice pattern is worked on a reverse stocking stitch background. The set-in sleeves have a single flower motif at the cuff. Chatto is worked flat from the bottom up.
Your kit will contain the pattern and sufficient skeins of Tamar DK for your chosen size, and is presented in one of our cotton Blacker Yarns tote bags. The sample is knitted in Tiddy Brook, but you can pick from any of our lovely Tamar shades.
