|Yarn Thickness for Pattern||4-ply|

Level of difficulty: Easy
This attractive and simple pullover falls to just below the waist. The set-in sleeves are three-quarter length but could be made either longer or shorter. The neckline is slightly squared. The whole pullover is worked in stocking stitch with a ridged purl garter stitch to hem, sleeves and neckline. Several variations are suggested at the end.
Using 3mm needles achieves a relatively dense and firm fabric. If this increased to 3.25mm it will give a slightly more open and softer handle, and will increase the finished garment size slightly, depending on the tension.
The sweater comes in 9 sizes and is worked in four peices and seamed together. There is a pick-up and work around the neckline to make a neckband . As our 'Susan's Simle Sweater' pattern is so popular, we have adapted it to work in 4ply for an even more elegant version.
