Unisex Chunky Knitted Winter Hat Project Kit

In collaboration with the Cornish brand, NeliHandmade we have created this simple and easy-to-knit unisex project kit, using one skein of Cove Chunky.

This textured hat has been designed with the winter months in mind, allowing you to keep warm and snug. The pattern features an optional finish where you can opt for a traditional finish or you can choose to create a unique ponytail style hat.

The perfect accessory to keep the head warm when walking the dog along the beach or taking a stroll in the park, this gorgeous unisex hat.

The sample has been knitted in Cove Chunky using the colour Treth.

KNITTING NEEDLES
1 pair of 5mm (UK 6 – USA 8) / 1 pair of 6mm (UK 4 – USA 10)
OTHER EQUIPMENT
7 Stitch Markers, Scissors, Wool Needle (for finishing)
TENSION SQUARE
15 Sts and 20 Rows 10cm/4in Square (It is really important to do
the tension square before starting your hat for a favourable result.
(Use St-st & 5mm Needles to do this).
Adjust where necessary: If your result comes to less sts/rows per
10cm/4in use a size smaller OR if your result comes to more sts/
rows per 10cm/4in use a larger size needle, this will easily adjust
your tension accordingly.
