Our new and updated Shetland yarn range, inspired by our love of coffee, our favourite brew enjoyed in the workplace and at home, is now available in DK.

Shetland fleece is one of the finest of all British Breed wools. We have selected the finest we can find so our worsted spun yarns are amongst the softest available. Shetland yarn is known for being silky, soft, and yet strong, and durable – making it the ideal yarn for knitting.

Shetland sheep fleeces range from white, through creams, fawns to mid (moorit) and deep browns and also come in greys (katmogit pale to darker) and almost black. We blend a selection of these shades together to produce six slightly heathered in DK. The colours can be worked together to create traditional Fair-isle patterns or more modern but subtle styles. You could even create a beautiful gradient garment using these tonal shades.
