These cosy socks are knitted top down with a heel flap construction. The two-colour slip stitch fabric is worked by striping alternate rows using only one colour at a time – no colourwork knitting is required.

We recommend using one of our DK or Aran yarns such as our  Samite DK,  Westcountry Tweed Aran – Blacker Yarns or Limited Edition & Rare Aran – Blacker Yarns to make these cosy socks. You will need 3 x 50g balls (3 different shades) or 3 x 100g skeins (3 different shades) for this intermediate level sock pattern.
