|Yarn Thickness for Pattern||Double Knitting|
|Garment Type||Cardigans & Jackets|
Level of difficulty: Intermediate
This dropped shoulder jacket in 3 sizes features a traditional aran cable design. The over-sized fit gives a modern, wearable air.
This garment is knitted flat and then seamed. There are slits at the sides and it may be knitted long or short and with or without sleeves. The sleeves are knitted from top to bottom and then set in. Each cable is set out separately, so stitch markers (scraps of coloured yarn will work best) are recommended until you get into the swing of it.

- i loved the designs on this pattern s they were that bit different to most Aran designs. I made mine without sleeves and just love it as an over gilet and have had lots of lovely comments about it (Posted on 15/11/2014)
