Back Story

Level of difficulty: Intermediate

Pattern Notes:

Designed in Lyonesse linen/wool blend 4-ply yarn, Drift is the perfect cover up for a summer's day. Sonja was inspired by her love of top down garment construction and a desire to create a shawl equivalent. The lace construction is worked in the round with raglan increases and magic loop technique and the design includes simple charts. Drift is fun to knit and the construction and yarn lend this garment a contemporary feel.

This shawl is worked in the round with raglan increases. It starts with a provisional cast on which is almost immediately picked up. The first few rows may be a little difficult to work, so we recommend using two circular needles. Once the first raglan increases in Section 1 have been worked, you may wish to switch to using magic loop technique with just one circular needle.
