Little Pumpkins Garland – Project Kit

We are approaching that magical spooky time of year. For Halloween this year we have a brand new kit, designed for us by Ginny of Ginx Craft.

Your kit will contain one 100g skein of our Gotland DK for the pumpkins and a 20g mini skein in Fog shade for the leaves and stalk, plus a pattern with instructions for two sizes of little pumpkins, and natural wool fleece for stuffing. You will have sufficient knitting wool for a chain of at least 14-16 pumpkins, and an icord chain to hang them on. Or you might choose to display them in a different way.

We have used Lightning for the pumpkins and Fog for the leaves and stalk. You can pick from any of our Gotland shades for the main shade. As you will see from our photo pumpkins do come in many different shades.

The little pumpkins are knitted flat, with one small seam. The only technique used that you might not have come across is icord knitting, which is clearly explained in the pattern.
