The garment is worked bottom up to make a front, a back and four sleeves which are then joined in the round to work the Fair Isle Yoke. Instructions are given for working back and forth, but can be worked entirely in the round if preferred.
The sample sweater is made in Blacker Yarns Cornish Garden 3ply c.100g c.460 metres (c.478 yards) a blend of Merino, Romney, Shetland, BFL and Noils.
The swatch is knitted using our 2021 Birthday Yarn – Woodland in 4ply – c.100g 320m (c.350y) a blend of BFL, Shetland and Black Welsh Mountain.
