Shetland

Shetland fleece ican be the finest of British breed wools and we select the finest we can find so the yarns are particularly soft.

Shetlands also come in many colours and we blend to produce six basic slightly heathered shades in 4-ply, Double Knitting and aran weights.

The colours range from white, through creams, fawns to mid (moorit) and deep browns and also come in greys (katmogit pale to darker) and almost black. Each batch will thus be very different!

The colours can be knitted together to create traditional Fair-isle patterns or more modern but subtle styles.
