Description
This yarn is made of natural very dark chocolate Hebridean fleeces blended wiith mohair, to enhance the softness and ability to work with dyes. The natural colour is a lovely charcoal grey to which we add a rich purple, gold, olive and blue which give great depth and density.
The blue is subtle yet has depth like the midnight sky, the gold is almost bronze, the olive a deep rich green and the purple a blueberry or blackcurrant colour - lovely!
Any of our existing classic patterns will do attractive variegated stripes and remember that 2 strands of 4-ply together make a great tweedy aran yarn.
