Jacob Sheep are famous for their striking two-coloured coats of dark and light wool. This enables us to colour sort and blend to achieve four-five shades in the pure Jacob yarns and a further three by blending the dark, mid and white colours with mohair.
The pure yarns are firm and hard-wearing, suitable for outer wear, and come in Double Knitting weight. The 50/50 blend with mohair is softer and can be worn next to the skin and again is available in Double Knitting weight.
The top of the scale in luxury is our worsted spun blend with mohair, which is beautifully soft and available in three shades in Double Knitting and 4-ply as well as some attractively dyed versions.
