Jacob Sheep are famous for their two-coloured coats of dark and light wool. This enables us to colour sort and blend to achieve four shades in the pure Jacob yarns and a further three by blending the dark, mid and white colours with mohair.

The pure yarns are firm and hard-wearing, suitable for outer wear, and come in Double Knitting weight. The 50/50 blend with mohair is softer and can be worn next to the skin and again is available in Double Knitting and 4-ply weight, including lovely over-dyed shades.

The top of the scale in luxury is our worsted spun blend with mohair, which is beautifully soft and available in three shades in Double Knitting and 4-ply as well as some attractively dyed versions.
