Alpaca

Alpaca is a smooth and fine fibre, producing lovely yarns both pure and blended. We have both pure alpaca and also a blend with silk and the rare Castlemilk Moorit wool. ALL AT HALF PRICE AT PRESENT!

Our yarns are a subtle range of natural shades - really lovely! They are normally in 50g balls, unless otherwise described on the Details tab on each individual product page.

An alpaca yarn is less elastic than a wool one and will produce a heavier, more draping garment. Bear this in mind in choosing patterns.
