Description
Level of difficulty: easy! This quick and easy hoodie is all in stocking stitch with garter stitch edges.
Our toddler hooded jacket proved so popular that we thought everyone should have one – besides which hoodies are now as perennially fashionable as jeans! This one, designed by Rita Taylor, completes the set, as her adult hoodie design for us has been available for some time. It comes in several variations, so it can be with or without sleeves – or even without a hood! So you could knit four versions with hoods plus another four without hoods – which means you can have a zip-up gilet too! You can, of course, also knit with and without pockets …. And finally you have a choice of pocket, cuff and hood edges: either moss stitch to match the integral front bands, or rib if preferred to match the welt (but we recommend rib for the welt, cuffs and hood for a warmer, more wind-proof version) – so much to choose!
