The Zwartbles sheep produces a black fleece which bleaches to red-brown in the sun. As well as blending with mohair, for a softer yarn which the silver mohair also converts from the dark brown of the pure wool to a deep shiny grey and fluffy yarn, we now make a pure Zwartbles yarn which has great character and dark chocolate tints. We supply in Aran and Double Knitting weights.
