Castlemilk Moorit is a very rare British breed, but the wool, although an attractive mid brown,can be short and bitty, so is best blended with other fibres to make nice yarns.

We make it with silk and alpaca in 4-ply and Double Knitting yarns. The wool is of medium softness, and would be suitable next to less sensitive skins.
