The Gotland sheep produce very fine, long and lustrous wool in shades from silver to charcoal. This is a true grey, and has no brownish tinge, unlike the Jacob or Shetland greys.

By hand sorting the fleeces, we can obtain three heathered shades and we make the yarns in 4-ply and Double Knitting weights. They will also over-dye beautifully to additional subtle colours for knitting alone or in colour work.
